very cute it looks like he has like no whithers on the last one but its prolly cuz its uneven ground. hes adorable- looks very comfy riding barback! the fat ponys are usually the most comfy! lol!! i no its the exemoor build- we have one at our barn- hes pretty lazy, i love him! he looks very nice and i love his numnuh (sp?)/ saddle pad, but in the first two picture it looks as if his saddle is way to far forward, im not sure, it may jst be the angle but i would have my saddle back a couple of inches.
BEAUTIFUL exmoore though! congrats!!!!
my friend has an exmoore and she qualified for horse of the year show on her and won supreme of the whole show!!!
*i rode that ponies brother on the beach-but fell off LOL. any way, nice pony!

the saddle is WAY too forward. i just threw the saddle on quickly to take that pic of her with the saddle cloth i made. i take a lot more care on fitting the saddle when im actually going to ride, promise!
thanks for the comliments by the way.

Take a look at this link
This photo is taken from the Exmoor Pony Society, you can get the breed standard from there. This is the type I am usually up against in Open Mountain and Moorland.

These ponies can and do carry adults.
At Breed shows you will see more adults ride the Exmoor than children ![[Smile]](smile.gif)
