I would suggest telling her actual height instead of saying "Large." People generally want to know the exact height because they are searching for something very specific.
If you're going to mention loads, clips, ties, then you should also mention bathes and stands for farrier.
If it were me, I would specify "flying lead changes" instead of just lead changes. Leads can be changed through 1 or 2 trot strides and be considered a lead change so you might want to specify.
P.S. - I think the pictures are WONDERFUL! [ December 04, 2003, 04:34 PM: Message edited by: Jumpers ]

From seeing pics of her, I don't think the second is very flattering. Makes her look really big in the forehand and also shows the twh influence big time. I would say "she does flying lead changes." Don't mention that she needs work. She can do them, and that's what they need to work. If someone starts looking at her more seriously, then you can tell them all the little details. Yes, do put her height. If you think she would be appropriate with an experienced child, put that in as well. (If not, don't say that she wouldn't be good for one. Once again, wait till they get more interested.

Yes..never use "large" or "small". What you think is large is GIGANTIC to me...or what you think is small is medium to me as well. Like my horse people call him "small", yet he hits 15 hands easily. Then there is a horse named Junior, similar build, just hits 14.2 hands....he's Small to me.
Then there are ponies that are tiny.
Looks good other than that.
Is this a newspaper ad? Or an internet ad? If it is newspaper, keep it REALLY short...like
6y jumper 15h loads clips ties 3000obo
you'll still get calls on her. But remains inexpensive.
I would use the jumping pic. She looks good. Plus shows that she CAN jump and you aren't just saying it.

I was thinking of putting up a few flyers, i wasnt sure what i should put on them though, like at a few tack shops and feed stores. should i work on putting a conformation pick instead of one of the others?? heres the pic my friend and i used in the ads so far.

Oh yeah, did you decide to leave the breeding out of the ad? (I would if I were you, but that's just me.)
