Nope, never, not at all. Where would be the joy in my life if I didn't have horses? THey are truly wonderful, magical creatures. To be able to have them in your life is a blessing and a privilege.

Trying to teach my husband to ride;)

I havenever doubted my love for horses, but there was a time when I no longer wanted to ride serioously, and I doubted wanting to make horses my carreer, but now I know for sure that I couldn't have it anyother way. You need to love what you do, so I am going to do what I love, work with horses.

I have NEVER doubted in loving horses after the moment I started liking them. I was 9 years old at that time. ![[Running Horse]](graemlins/horse.gif)

i have. when i used to ride a pony, the owner said i was outgrowing her and would not be able to ride her for much longer. i was so upset and seemed to deal with the sadness by focusing on all the bad points of the pony so that i would become unattached to her. this started to make me actually hate, yes hate this pony! i felt so guilty but then when i got my own horse i had the pony as a companion and fell back in love with her. i wished i had never hate riding as it was such a bad time.

I owned Candy forever as you might well have got by now(always on about her 31years) I always remember telling my close friend, that when she goes that would be it for me, she said no not you you wouldn't survive without one. How true was she, I bought Pic before Candy died, I always loved him but thought I would never love another like I loved Cand, so untrue, he means the world to me, and I couldn't love him anymore if I tried.

I have never doubted my love for horses!! But I did decide once or twice to give up riding. Especially when things go wrong in riding and you don't get the horses to cooperate!! But I gave up the idea, I ride and have my love for horses, no doubts at the moment ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

SOmetimes i doubt that i'm cut out to be a horse owner. I have limited amount of patience and i take riding so seruosly that i forget why i'm riding. But my mare is starting to help me out on these doubts. I think my true fear is getting attached, but she won't meet my standards, but that's just silly. I get mad at myself for thinking that stuff which just makes it worse. But i'm getting better about it and am starting to get my confidence back that i once had. But i do love my horses and couldn't dream of stop having any or riding them. ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

I have never doubted my love of horses. I have ridden since before I could walk well, and even as a SMALL baby (under 6 months) would get excited when I saw stuffed animals that were horses! Recieved my first pony for my first b-day (a little sheltie/welsh cross named Cocoa.)
