I am a pony person at heart. I rode my old mare Candy right up until I was almost ready to give birth(not a good idea). My friends all got bigger ponies as they grew, but I stook with Candy. On this photo, I am 19, and only weighed 8 stone,(112lbs), never been very heavy. She took me everywhere, and always had more to give. She was only 12hh Welsh Sec A, I still Pop on Pic and have some fun.

Yeh the ugly one not my Candy she was the prettiest pony in the World to me. The girl next to me is my longest friend Carol, her pony Feather was 14hh, could jump the moon, but had a nasty habbit of plunging. Carol now lives in the Dominican Republic, but she comes home at least twice a year and we always catch up and e mail each other a few times a week.

Wow, the Dominican Republic? That sounds good, is she living there because she likes it or is it work? It sounds really interesting!

She always had itchy feet, Carol that is. She went to work in Florida, on her own, met up with some people there who offered her a job in DR, and she has been there for about 14 years now. When she came over this July, she told me she was coming home to stay soon, I was so pleased, but then she said, she wanted to work in the Isle of Man, which is nearer, but still a plane away. Her mom is getting older now, and she wants to be nearer, but it's still too far for me. I would like her to be nearer, I miss her.

hOrSeCrAzEeE120 : That was a cute pony. CANADYGIRL: Candy looks cute in the pic. You really had a great pony who seemed to be a very good friend too!! I know what you mean by missing your friend. I miss one of my friends who lives in Italy right now. She was my best friend in primary! But I have other very good friends who are really great, one has been my friend for 8 years now and we're really close friends!!

My oldest friends are Jenny and Nicola who i have known for 13 years. They live down in Yorkshire and when i moved up to Scotland i was so devastated that i wouldn't talk to anyone or eat for at least 5 days. Things are better now but i still miss them loads so i know what you mean.

I want to move house, I live in a village but it is becoming a town. They have just built a new Motorway at the top of the village, and all the Green open space is disapearing, one BIG problem, the lads, like you they have all their friends here, they are 16 & 13, and every time we metion moving, they throw a wobbler. So I can understand what you are saying. It's a hard situation. I would like to live in the middle of nowhere, but they are used to having their friends around. Suppose to be fair, we will have to wait until they are grown.

The place where i live is actually a city yet it is tiny (it's only a city because of the cathedral) but it's growing. Housing estates keep popping up wherever you look I hate it! When we first came here everything was green and now there are these ugly houses wherever you look. My sister and i are begging our parents to let us move house!! I don't have any close friends here in my town anyway so i wouldn't mind starting somewhere else, i'd love to just start somewhere new!! But my mum and dad are saying no ![[Flaming Mad]](graemlins/flamingmad.gif)

I am leading a campaign in our village to try and prevent a large building firm building 1000 more houses, factories etc on our last remaining Green Belt Land, 134 acres of it. We have won the first hurdle, I managed to get 1700 people to write into the Council opposing the planning, it worked, the Council refused the planning, now the Builders are appealing, so we have to fight again. It has been real hard work, but got the School involved, and letters went out with the kids. If this does go ahead that's it for me, I'm off, whether they like it or not. I would live in a caravan, with a couple of acres of land for Pic if I had to. The new motorway has put the price of our house up by £30'000, just because everyone wants to live here now, because all the major towns are so easy to get to for work. The tiny roads and lanes couldn't take any more traffic, it is bad enough now. ![[Flaming Mad]](graemlins/flamingmad.gif)

Very cute bay pony. If he jumps as well as he looks he'll be doing well! I just adore ponies. Wish I still had one to ride, lol.
