OK I'm gonna post pics of some of my horses, and you all can nit pick them as much as ya want, but tell me how much you would expect to spend on them, as they have all been sold, or are for sale for a price. Keep in mind they are all halter show prospects or halter broodmares.
Interested to know different opinions!

Yearling: $2000, in the pic he looks to be built extremely down hill. If this is just because of the way he is standing I would go up to $4k maybe 5.
Mare: $10,000 she has great conformation but she would have to have some kind of show record before I would go any higher [Smile]

$5000 for the yearling going up or down depending on his head cause you can't see it in the pic. It's fairly obvious that he'll grow out of being downhill. He's the only one that I personally care for, so I can't say much about the mares.

I do not personally care for the conformation of any of them except possibly the 2nd broodmare. She's got the best conformation of any of them. However, I would not pay more than $3,000 for her if it were me.

Your horses are all beautifully cared for and their coats are gleaming. It's great to see pics this high in quality! Keep up the great work!

Hi, the yrl head looks too long for his body, prob. will not outgrow! others have (don't take this wrong) but terrible bodies for athletic ability, too long of backs, some have too short of legs, but great for reining, and the dun has too long of a skinny neck! For the yearling $1000 depending on the leveling, others(now i know that they are worth alot) but no more than 3k, i have a quarter that has better conformation that i bought from kentucky for less than 5k!
here let me post it!

For being a 3 year old, that horse appears to be very downhill.

You must not have noticed in the original post that I said these were HALTER horses, so no they wouldn't have athletic event conformation. So I disagree that your palomino has better conformation, his neck ties too low for a halter horse, but is probably fine for a rider, I agree with Dawn that he looks downhill, but probably is just pic angle.

The yearling looks a little over at the knee to me, it may just be the photo. He has a wonderfully long neck, but is it too upright for a AQHA? As an Arab person, I love the neck. He looks a little straight in the hind legs to me and the right fore looks a little clubby. This may be the Arab person coming out in me again, but are his ears a little far apart?
Kudos to you, all of the horses appear to be in great health and good coat! You must take very good care of them.

He does appear over at the knee in the pic, but I think I took it about the time he was shifting back and forth. In halter a higher tying neck is prefered along with the postier hocks. As far as is ears being far apart, guess I never really noticed it before [Razz] but they are a little airplaney. Wish I had a pic of what he looked like when we got him from the kill pen!! [Mad]

Okey dokey, good looking colt. BUT, yes, he does look over in teh knee, and for a halter prospect, I like a little more hip:) I guess I would also put him in teh $2000.00 range therabouts, the next pic of the halter mare is absolutely stunning horse flesh, really like her a lot:) the rest of the mares are nice, they have great bloodlines, however in order to really put a price tag on them, I would like to see their show ring accomplishments as well as their get's accomplishments, great looking horses. i know that they aren't fit for halter, but teh 3rd one down looks a little short in the neck for me. they are great looking though, very well taken care of:)Kudo's to you for saving the little colt from teh feed lot:) *Computer hug* to you LOL

yes the second mare is short in the neck and a nasty heifer to boot, the dun mare too! Was happy to get rid of 'em! The third mare on the same page has never been shown herself, but her foals have hundreds of pts. in all sorts of disciplines. The very first mare has a 100 or so halter pts herself and this year will be her first foal for us. JAN 1!!

Hi sorry, he does look a little down hill dosen't he, the old owners took the picture at an angle, also down a slope in a hill, here you want to see a nice horse? We bought him not too long ago, but I think considering the conformation you like, you would be inpressed with my dad's horse, let me find it on dreamhorse, as you notice the horses I am showing are from dreamhorse, haven't got recent pics:-)i'll get some soon.

He does have nice conformation, a little thicker in the neck than I personally prefer but all around very nice. Very "reinerish" (dont think that's a word but oh well) [Wink]

nice horse! Ok I got one for you, this was my arab before we sold him. He's a Khemosabi son, currently 18 yrs old, 14.3 hands, we sold him when he was 17. I did a lot of dressage on him, scores always in the 60's usually mid to high 60's. Some of the awards we got together were: 2000 National Top Ten JTR Training Level dressage at the Youth Arabian Nationals, 2000 and 2001 Pro Am training level dressage champion. 2000 Cowtown JTR Dressage High Pt, 2000 Region 9 Reserve Champ Training Level, 2001 Region 9 Champion Training Level and Reserve Champ First Level. Here's a few pics:

By the time I sold him he was solidly schooling all his lateral movements (shoulder in, travers, half pass ect) So, to you dressage riders, what would you have said his worth was? Oh and before I bought him at 13 yrs he he did western pleasure and won Top Ten at naionals in Amatuer owner to ride.

Reasong for editing: Ok try just copying the URL of the links and pasting in your browser, hopefully this works, let me know!
