Last Wednesday morning I went to Yswain Welsh Cobs(had to pick up 8 rug repairs) took my camera with me, to get a couple of photos of the mares in foal, to try and help Cornish Pony(Have sent them to her personally)
But got to show you the others I took. They don't realy do them justice, being winter and all that, but it is the most fantastic place on the earth. All the stallion take time out in the paddocks, and I cannot speak highley enough of how they are cared for. I have loads, and don't want to bore you with them, but just GOT to show you some. Hope they come out.(keep dropping hints to my hubby, my 40th next year, what a pressie [Big Grin] [Big Grin] )

This is Yswain Oberon, he is all stallion, but his manners are impecable. What a beast. [Eek!]

Ywain Soloman - You have seen him on Als web site, now here he is in the rough

This is just 3 of the mares, all Yswain, and all out of Soloman, they have his stamp

This one of the photos I took for Cornish Pony, just to try and help. This mare is due to foal end of February, which Alison admitted was a bit early, but they have the facilities being a stud. Loveley mare, couldn't get rid of her, even nibbling my boot laces like a pup.

Sorry if there are a lot, but just had to share them with you. Hope I havn't bored you all.

sorry

matty

The Yswain Stallion is 15hh, so not realy a pony.

There is one filly foal that is going to Colarado(?), I will take photos of her next week, and get some full body shots. Only took a cheapo camera, will take my best one and get some good shots. There is quite a lot of Yswain stock over in America, Alison and Bill came back about 4 weeks ago after visiting some of the horses they bred and have now gone over to the states.

Does anyone live in Colarado(?) where the filly yearling is going, or near there, I am just repairing rugs for Alison, I will ask her where the others are in America, I know she has quite a few of hers out there. She has just come back from seeing some, but can't remember which part. I was talking to her about the filly going on the aroeplane, OMG, i just can't imagine, I won't go on myself.

I didn't know whether or not to put that one on, the photo doesn't do it Justice, it's out of Solomon. Just as I took the photo, he turned his head away and put his ears back, camera just wasn't quick enough, or I wasn't I should say. It was quite a skittish colt, he is well handled, all Alison horses are, but this one, just was one them, you know. It's sold, and so is the chestnut colt which I didn't get on right, now he was a in your face little monster, complete opposite temperement to the black colt. Will take more Pics when I go back. Not realy the right time of year for good photos, but in the summer I will bore you soft with them.

They look pretty much as far gone don't they [Big Grin] Do you just love Oberon [Big Grin] He has the manners of a saint, well they all do, every stallion, mare, youngster there, they have so much respect, not advocating taking little kids in with a stallion, don't want to be shot down for that, but I sware they are all stallion but so well manered you could take a kid in their stables, and as long as Alison is there, they would be fine. Taking some rugs back tomorrow, will try and get some better photos, not showing them at their best or doing them justice.

For Lou

These are some photos of my friend Alisons Welsh Cob Stud, Yswain Welsh Cobs, Just take a look at Oberon [Eek!] [Eek!] He's 15hh. Solmon the one with his head out of the stable, he is 14.3hh, he is superb, but I know that is a rubish photo of him, will put a link to Alisons Home page, so you can see Solomon proper and also Oberon, and little Mattie, love em.
