My horse, Shadow has these little hard lumps on his body. They aren't all over the place, but I feel there's about 6 on random spots on his body. They are hard, and the biggest is probably the size of the end of my pinky and they don't bother him at all.
Lately I've been noticing that when he and my 2 year old play fight, Oreo tends to grab onto Shadow's skin and twist it. Shadow has absolutely no cuts or anything, and I've noticed that the lumps are pretty well wherever Oreo grabs on to him.
So I'm thinking that whereas Oreo gets a bunch of cuts on him, Shadow has these lumps instead??? Think it's possible? What could cause these lumps? (Like, a broken vein or something?)
The vet's coming down the 26th for some shots and whatever, I'll ask him there. I also thought they were ticks are one point, but my dog had ticks before and they don't look like them - thus I've ruled them out.
Any ideas? ![[Confused]](confused.gif)

Sounds like bite welts. Mine gets them when he goes out with his friends.
Also, hives? If there are an ABUNDANT amount, you might consider that. Plus with fly season here, flybites can cause it too.
When your vet gets there, ask him whan he thinks.
