Ok, after those long threads, I think we finally settled on Khartoon Khlassic. We liked Mcclintock, but we thought he would be a better cross with our younger filly. We started a stud book for future breedings, lol.

I love Khartoon Khlassic. I have thought about breeding my black Arab mare to him myself, but I like her half Andilusian babies so much that I am going to stick with Andi studs for her. Good choice! I hope you have a loud sabino filly!!

I will be happy as long as it is sound, healthy, and sane. If it is colored, that's a plus, but not all I am concerned about. When I saw the video of him and his babies, my jaw dropped (doesn't happen too much). We are going to have her bred in Mid-June. His owners said that they don't have a set date to stop shipping semen, so that makes me happy. Just in case she doesn't take on the first try. I am so happy, giddy, I don't ever want to shut up. [Hah]

I love Andies too, I bet those arab/andy babies are adorable.

It's good to hear the hard decision has been made!
I know you are both relieved and excited! [Big Grin]

Just remember that Maclintock V's fee will go up...this "INTRODUCTORY" fee you see now is only for this breeding season. It is a one time offer....It will most likely do like the introductory fees of her other studs and quickly go up in price to where it is like or very close to the fees of the rest of her Stallions. [Wink]

Yeah I know about that stud fee. If it goes up and I am still not sure, I might just fork over the $4000 or $5000 for one of the other great studs for my Angel. I decided that I am not going to breed Angel until I find something for her to be good at. Might take a few years.
