how much does AI cost normally to be done by your vet??? And do they give you enough semen to do a few breedings...like if your mare doesn't take the first time??

Your best bet is just to call a few vets around you and ask their prices. Most breeders will send two syringes of semen so you can breed your mare once at nite and then the next morning. Then you'll have to wait and see if she takes. If she doesn't you'll have to start the whole process over again. [Smile]
