I want to do one of those guessing games for my foal - you know where you put say a dollar down that it will be born on this date, and a dollar down if you want to attempt the s*e*x as well - things like that.
Does anyone know any good ones to do or how to do it (so it works out fair for those participating)?

We bet on date, color, gender and markings, too, but we also add in time of birth.

Get a day planner for the time near the due date. Have people purchase guesses on times and days. Specifically define what the winner gets from the pool.

For example: 50% the total pot for guessing time and date(within say hour blocks). have add ins, like color and sex to get the remaining % of the pot add 15% if color is correct 15% sex. Use the final 20% for purchase of smaller prizes for just correct color and sex (since there will more than likely be multiple winners of that part)

If no one gets the 50% for the time/date or additional the 15% each color/sex use it to purchase tack for the new foal. Name plates etc...
