I posted this in the General Horse Chat forum but I thought I might get more replies here.

My friend bought a quarter horse mare and we were just wondering about her dam and sire and if anyone knows if they ever did anything, or any info at all I guess. No specifics really, just wondering if she came from decent lines or not, don't know anything about quarter horse lines. Thanks!!

Double Bid Man
...........Mr Double 130
Miss Taito 130 \
.....................Miss Ginny to Win (dam)
Peso Five /
..........Lady Lena Five
Better Lena
-------------------------------------------------
Smoke 49
.........Almost a Smoke
Sweetie Flower \
..................Almost a Killer (sire)
Sure Silver /
.........Shesa bad Mamajama
Classy Zippo Pine

The mare's registered name is I'd Kill to Win, but we call her Nala. Any info or input is welcome! Thanks again!

I hope you dont mind but I took the liberty to add her to the pedigree page that I use most often use add is I could find all her pedigree but Sweetie Flower who is her dam and sire? or you can add it yourself by rightclicking on Sweetie flower (on the pedigree) and click edit information.

http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/index.php?query_type=check&search_bar=horse&h=ID+KILL+TO+WIN&g=5&inbred=Standard

As you can see
Double Bid Man has King as his Great Grandfather

Miss Taito 130 has Poco Bueno as her Grand father

Peso Five has King twice as a Great grandfather

Shesa Bad Mamajama - Zippo Pine Bar is her grandfather

Smoke 49 has King , Joe Reed II , Leo further back in his pedigree

More information on some of the sires..
Three Bars
King
Poco Bueno

Hope that helps She has good breeding further back but her first few generations were unknown for the most part. Still doesnt really matter as long as she is a good horse for your friend and she is loved!

Thanks a lot! That helps some to know her foundation as it goes way back.

If anyone knows directly of her sire or dam and any accomplishments or anything in general would be great too. Thanks again.

The parents are unknowns... as far as I could find. I even had to add them to the pedigree chart I use most often. But then again I only did an hour research
