HArold bites at me and stuff when i try to spray him, and its kinda dangerous, he eventually stops bin mad at me, but starts again when i try again, and then wont let me near his body!! also, have u guys ever used SWAT the stuff that keeps flies off wounds and open spots? i need to know if it stings when u put it on before i try puttin it on harold, he needs it bad round his eyes and nose, and i wanna b ready for the worst!

I use SWAT, and I thik that is works pretty well, I dont usually use it for the wounds, cuts, ect I just put it around their eye area,a nd all of the horses that I used it on have been fine. As far as the fly spray, if the horse isnt fond of having fly spray put on him...we put a halter and lead on them. Then we brush/pat the neck area, tell them good boy or girl, and then start spraying them at the front legs,a dn work our way up and eventually back. If you dont wnat to waste the fly spray teaching the horse how to stand, start out with a spray bottle with water in it. This is basically what we do with our foals when we start fly spraying them. Good luck!
-------------------- Mares: Honey-buckskin(in-foal to a smutty buckskin stallion) BG-palomino/dunalino(foaled a beautiful filly) Dibby-dun(in-foal to a palomino stallion) Star Bucks-buttermilk buckskin(not bred, we may just use her as a riding horse)
Fillies: Lizzy-grulla(will be used as a broodmare in the future, due to an injury as a weanling...we are unsure if she will be riding sound, although she might be, as her injury has healed so well...you can't even tell) Sheba-black(hopefully will be shown in Halter classes starting this year) Blue-blue roan(we aren't too sure what we are going to do with this filly yet....but she is a cutie)
Geldings: Poco-sorrel/overo*Paint*(Awesome riding horse!) Brandy-*FOR SALE*(Nice 2 yr old, going into training soon, price will go up, feel free to ask me about him..if you are interested)
Foals: Tinker Bell- Red dun filly. Nice short neck, long legs, beautiful eyes..absolutely beautiful. Very people friendly.
Other 2 foals are expecting between May and June.
