ok, isnt true, that its better if the mane lays on one side over the other?? if so, which side is it? i know in our mini club, it is true, but wat bout the big guys? harold's mane is half on each sie, and if i find out its better on one, ill start pushing it that way, rather then the other..anyone know?

It's supposed to lie on the right side.

It's impossible for Pook's to stay to the right, but since I don't show, I don't really care. I let it grow out to the left. (It's split, but more to the left than the right)

to the right i show and maddies mane is natural to the right easy fog me to say!lol

Some horses manes just won't sit on the off side, but it is the usual side for showing. We have a mare that has her mane naturally sit on the near side and we've decided to leave it that way. If you notice sometimes, horses in the show ring have their rosettes on either side depending on how they were plaited.
