Topic: mud is making my horse purple

The mud at my barn is turning my horse's socks and tail purple does any one have any ideas to make them white again?

How do you catch a loose horse? Make a sound like a carrot.
There is no need of spurs when a horse is running away.

Purple? Are you sure it's the mud? Or that it's even purple?

Do you have polkweed where your horse is kept? That will turn their coats purple...

I have seen this before, most the time it is not a big deal. The best thing I could say is to wash it with a shampoo. It may be hard to get rid of the color, my friends horse turns red and blue and the horse is white.

Not exactly the same, but here in Vegas we have tons of red dirt. So guess what color grey horses turn?
