ouch Sorry to hear that. I do not know of any way that you would be able to get hair to grow in two weeks. Though there are suppliments that are suppose to help it grow back I dont know about that fast!

Message Me! I can seriously help with that kind of stuff! I had a paint stally who freaked out in his stall AT THE SHOW, and had half his tail hairs pulled out, and lots of coat hairs and main hairs pulled out, too. AND WE FIXED HIM UP TO GET SECOND PLACE!!!! (yay!)... and I can help quite a bit.

In the event that you can't get the hair to grow back quickly enough, you can always use grooming chalk or sprays. They make them in many colors. Match it to your horse's coat and just cover them up ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Yes, and then you can, for the really small bald patches, use the chalk or spray, then fix the hair "just so" and spray it with hair spray. Then you cant see the little ones even when your really close. Tail extensions work great for thinned tails, and you can usually braid the mane so it is hard to see if it has been thinned

i've always used aloe vera gel...the actual brand i used was called "Animal Aloe" but i'm sure that any brand of gel would work just fine.
it even worked on some old scars, as well!

What color is your horse ? I can't remember what the color stuff it is but I think it is Food color or water color...anyways, mix this with vaseline, and put it on your horse were she has a bold spot. Works great...it really covers it up

Try Preparation (sp) H. It works really well, but will show up in a drug test.

To get hair growing back rather quickly, I use aloe vera straight from the plant. There are no additives and it is less likely to react. There is also vitamin E cream. I have heard of some people using honey. Not the supermarket variety, it is honey specifically produced for medical purposes. I used that on a wound on my horse's leg that refused to regrow hair and within a week hair was almost completely regrown. For shows, if my horse has minor blemishing, I tend to disguise it with chalk or coloured makeup specifically for horses. Sometimes though, time is the only rememdy.
